Are you a 3D wizard with a flair for bringing characters to life through animation? Join our dynamic team as a 3D Generalist with Characters Experience and embark on a creative journey like never before!
Role Overview:
As a 3D Generalist, you will be a key player in crafting immersive character animations that captivate audiences. From modeling and rigging to animation and rendering, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills across the entire animation pipeline.
We do NOT operate a ‘cog in the wheel’ team structure here at Rot Mist Ltd or HaZimation. Our team operates like a family and help each other out on tasks and creative / technical problem solving. Requirements:
- Proven experience as a 3D Generalist with a focus on character animation (can be personal work and / or studio work)
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Cinema 4D and/or Maya.
- Have experience with taking 3D assets into Unreal engine to work up to finishing stage with shaders.
- Knowing tools like Reallusion iClone and Character Creator is advantageous, if not, then artist must be willing to get trained up in it.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, understanding project goals and timelines.
- Passion for pushing creative boundaries and staying updated on industry trends.
- Must be a resident in Northern Ireland
Responsibilities:
- Artist will be responsible for all elements of 3D from modelling, texturing, shaders and rigging.
- Artist will also be responsible for delivering high quality work with cinematic fidelity especially with character assets.
- Bring characters to life through expressive and dynamic animations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance visual storytelling.
